From Catherine

Hi Friend —

The headlines are enough to give you whiplash.

A few years ago, questioning election security got you labeled a conspiracy theorist. Now, the failures you were told didn’t exist are making headlines.

It’s becoming nearly impossible to know what to believe.

I’m weary of it. I suspect you are, too. And if we feel this way after years of paying close attention, imagine how it feels for someone just trying to make sense of the headlines.

For years, legitimate questions have been dismissed as "crazy conspiracies", and citizens — including many of us — have been discredited simply for reporting what we found or experienced firsthand.

Now we’re facing a tsunami of headlines about the very failures they spent years dismissing. What the mockbird media on both sides of the aisle buried a few years ago, they broadcast now* — and I believe the calculation is political: overwhelm you, discourage you, and convince you there’s no point in trying.

Do not let them get in your head.

Our election process has serious problems, but sitting out will solve none of them.

Believe me, I understand the anger. I’ve spent years in this fight. I know what it costs to keep going when institutions fail you, when the story gets twisted, when accountability always seems to be somebody else’s responsibility.

But I also know this: withdrawing leaves the decisions to whoever remains. And we are making progress! Yes, it's slower and far more difficult than in should be, but we are still moving forward!.

So - we have to vote. And we have to document failures, demand answers, and stay engaged at every level after the votes are counted.

Do not back down. We can still correct course. Do. Not. Give. Up.

And because you deserve more than another email telling you to keep fighting, we’ve built something to help. 🇺🇸 😊 🇺🇸

It’s called 7 Votes. And it puts a little encouragement, connection, and even fun back into showing up at the polls!

At 7votes.org, you choose seven people you know and help them follow through on voting.

Think about who those people might be. The friend who’s had enough. The neighbor who doesn’t think one vote matters. The family member who needs someone they trust to say, “I hear you. I’m frustrated, too. Let’s see this through.”

Be that person!

7 Votes makes it simple:

  • Pick your seven. Add their first names or choose them from your contacts.
  • Send a note. The app helps draft messages about checking registration, making a voting plan, and voting. Make them your own and send them from your phone.
  • Follow through together. Your friends mark their progress through a link, so you can see who’s ready and who could use another reminder.

There’s a leaderboard, too, because a little friendly competition never hurts. And when your seven invite seven more, you can watch your reach grow.

It’s free. It’s nonpartisan. Nobody asks how anyone votes, just encourages your family and friends TO vote!

With 23 days until Election Day, here is something you can do today.

Let the people you know hear from someone they trust. Give them a reason to stay engaged. Help them take the next step.

We have too much worth fighting for to sit this out.

Keep the faith. Never quit. Ephesians 6 FTW!

Ever onward —

*From Above: To be clear, more headlines do not mean the media has suddenly committed to finding the truth about our elections. We’re seeing coverage of process failures and stories that hint at larger political scandals. But the biggest questions—including those we’ve spent years pursuing—are still radioactive.

Still, I’m glad these issues are getting attention. The problems are real, even when I believe the decision to cover them is politically calculated. Every honest report gives the public a chance to understand more and demand better.

And who knows? Maybe following a few uncomfortable facts will help some journalists find their way back to their own integrity.

I’m not holding my breath. But a girl can dream.

We can't do this without you — and we wouldn't want to.

Thank you for your support!

What a week ...

Shasta Co, CA: "The Shred"

On October 3, the state of California sent a shredding truck to Shasta County to destroy ballots and other election materials from 2024 that were being preserved for a federal investigation.

Shasta County deserves answers. So does every American voter.

Louisiana: "Human Error"

If there wasn't ever a reason to verify your record, now you have one after 67 thousand records in Louisiana were erroneously switched to "inactive". They call it human error. We call it a failed system.

Colorado: A Taxing Problem

Approximately 800k CO voters received ballots asking them to approve $580m in debt and a tax projected to raise $295m annually. The problem? They don't live in the district and weren't eligible to vote on it.

Just another thing that "never happens"...

Georgia: $107 Million Later… Now What?

GA spent $107m on Dominion voting equipment in 2020. Six years later, lawmakers are considering replacements while taxpayers are still paying off the original purchase.

Wasn't this the system used in what officials called the “most secure election ever”?

Georgia: The Hypocrisy

The Secretary of State knowingly shares GA residents voting AND driver's license data with a non-government entity but refuses to share it with the federal government...yup. See page 11 from ERIC's own bylaws.

Circa 2007, Texas? Really?

Nearly 20 years ago, a State Auditor's report found that over half of surveyed county voter-registration offices said the TEAM system wasn't allowing them to do their jobs effectively.

The problems have been documented for years. Why haven't they been resolved?

San Francisco: So Much for Measures to Limit Mail Voting

San Francisco mailed more than 500k ballots. Now some are arriving TORN.

More mail ballots, more opportunities for things to go wrong. Voters deserve better.

Georgia: Double the Absentee Fun

Athens-Clarke County officials blame a duplicate mailing list sent to the printer.

But here's the question: How did 1,154 duplicate ballots get mailed in the first place?

One more plug for 7 Votes! Join us! it's fun!

Seven People. Seven Votes. One Powerful Difference.

7Votes.org is a new, free, nonpartisan initiative from True the Vote Now that makes it easy to connect with seven of your contacts, encourage them to participate, and help them get to the polls. We'll provide the tools and resources. You bring the personal connection.

Elections are decided by those who show up, and sometimes just a handful of votes make all the difference.

Are you sure you're registered?

You can check your own voter registration record right now. Visit scancheckprotect.org and take three minutes to:

  1. Confirm your current record is accurate — your name, address, and status.
  2. Verify that your address isn't being used as a voter trap house — after you pull up your record, check your current address and confirm you recognize anyone else who may be registered at your residence.
  3. Check the rolls in states where you used to live — old registrations often linger for years after you've moved, sometimes without your knowledge.
  4. Tell us what you found. Good or bad, we want to hear from you — and if something looks off, we're here to help you fix it.

Father,

Today we ask You to give us hearts that are willing to listen and the courage to act when You call us to move. Give us discernment to recognize what is right, wisdom to know what needs to be done, and boldness to take the next step in obedience. Keep us from allowing fear or the comfort of standing still to keep us from the purpose You have placed before us. Help us to keep moving forward instead of hesitating even when we cannot see the entire path ahead. Give us the faith to follow where You are leading us. And hearts that are ready to say, “Here I am. Send me.”

In Jesus Name, Amen
