Confidential: Your Invitation

I believe you can relate to my story better than most. It was 2008 when my “wake up call” occurred.
Deeply troubled by the direction our country was headed and determined to help secure a better future for my children, I stepped out of life as the president of a manufacturing company and dedicated myself to full-time service in the fight for our republic. True the Vote was founded in 2009 and I’ve been on the battlefield ever since.
At some point you chose to financially support True the Vote’s work - a call you answered because you saw what was happening to our elections and knew something must be done.
Now, our mutual calls - to serve and to support - have never been more important. To that end, we are launching a new strategic development plan and we’d like you to be part of it.
In the history of True the Vote we’ve never done anything like this. But given all that is happening in our world, we need an army of trusted advocates around us, helping to steady our finances, so we can successfully execute on plans at rapid fire pace between now and November 2024.
Heading up the effort will be a battle-tested firebrand who’s led some of the liberty movement’s most successful building programs, Sarah Moore Skogen. We are thrilled to have her on the True the Vote team at this critical time in history.
Below is a letter from Sarah, outlining our initial plans.
Truly, in the next few years, our actions will determine whether we remain a free people or bow to an encroaching authoritarian rule that silences our voices and strips away our freedoms.
Please stand with us. Do not lose hope. The battle ahead will not be easy, but only if we fight can we win.

Greetings,
If you take away nothing else from my letter - please take this: you are part of a small group of donors we are reaching out to. It is our hope that together we can build a support system for True the Vote that gives you more access and insight than you’ve ever had.
It’s an honor to be working with you on this critical issue of our time: election integrity. Tragically, many of our brothers and sisters remain in denial of the dire condition our nation finds itself in.
These are the basic building blocks of a free society: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the right to keep and bear arms, the freedom of assembly and the freedom to petition. Your right to vote – and your vote’s right to count – is the heartbeat of a fully functioning, healthy republic. Your engagement with True the Vote demonstrates to us that you know these rights are at risk. But how we defend our freedom matters just as much as that we protect it in the first place.
Why do I draw your attention to this? Well, because too many on “our side” have given up.
Too many have lost faith. Too many have given up the fight and settled for sitting on the sidelines and playing the “accuser”...that is, blaming someone else for the problems we face, rather than owning them.
– If we are not defending what is at risk, then we are (at best) accomplices.
– If we are not advocating for the brokenness in our country to be healed and restored, then we will have lost our way and worse – our very identity.
I joined True the Vote after some significant time spent helping to lead Americans For Prosperity in its heyday, a brief stint in radio, seven years as a small business owner, and much coaching and building across our broader, shared freedom movement. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past decade and a half – it’s this: there are two types of people – those who are builders and those who are destroyers. I’ve made a commitment to be a builder for the common good in partnership with you.
The reason I’ve signed up to work with Catherine I suppose is the very same reason you have chosen to support her – she's a builder of good things. She stands out among the rest as someone who is willing to make sacrifices in order to protect our basic freedoms – even to the point of putting her life on the line or spending time in prison under an unjust ruling. The courage that she has single-handedly displayed is hard to come by in these modern days of political cowardice and modern comfort. It’s that courage I was drawn to. And you were, too.
Together, we have been working on your behalf to design a program that identifies the diamonds in the rough – those supporters who make courage a key tenet of their modus operandi – whether it comes to running a business, raising a family, or managing philanthropic investments.
The Sentinels and The Defenders are the two new giving communities that will receive access to our team's highest-level strategies and give us the ability to elevate our operations as a movement. Should you choose to join, you would enter into being a part of our strategy, a key player in our work to “build something better.”
Today, we would love to extend the invitation to join this cohort of freedom fighting individuals and families who are steadfast in the fight to protect the livelihood of our republic.
In full transparency, this is our invitation for you to take a step towards a deeper level of both commitment and resolve in our shared work to preserve our freedoms.
